68RFE High-Performance Towing/HD Valve Body
RevMax has proprietary technology and workflow processes that make our product superior to the competition. We also have the industry’s best testing equipment. To start, we vacuum leak test each and every valve body after cleaning. Finally, each valve body is dyno tested on one of our fully computerized valve body dyno machines. The results are compared against a brand new valve body and the data is then stored and available to be viewed by the customer if requested.

Easy install simple instructions. Also did filter plug deep pan and solenoid pack for my valve body leak code. Already had an h&s mini max with trans tune to turn up pressures. Bought truck with 125k now has 166k and this is the best upgrade to date. H&S and deletes added power but it never made it to the ground. I would recommend this to any one with a 68rfe. Wether it’s new and u want to make your trans last longer or you have some power upgrades and want to to stop the stock trans slip you will notice the diffrance instantly

Have been having tranny problems for a year now in my 08 Cummins. Had p0871 code and bad shift between 3rd and 4th. Went into limp mode when hot. Talked to rev max and decided to purchase valve body and tcm. Installed and truck shifts better than its ever shifted. Nice smooth firm shifts. Couldn’t be happier!!

At 132k miles while towing my 5th wheel toy hauler, I started having issues with the stock 68RFE in my 2008 2500. I figured it was done, and would need to be replaced. Gave the guys at revmax a call, and explained the issue, and followed their advise. I ended up replacing the valve body and solenoid pack, and haven’t had an issue since. Single best upgrade to a stock transmission you can do, hands down. Wished I’d done it years ago. Super easy installation, I’ve been turning wrenches for 27 years, but can easily be done by anyone. If you are able to do your own transmission service, you can do this. At the time of install I also replaced my transmission pan, with their deep pan, and installed one of their stage 5 low stall converters. I’m telling you, this is one solid feeling truck now! When it comes time to rebuild or replace my stock transmission, I will definitely be calling Revmax!

I am not by any means a transmission expert. However I could feel that my truck started driving different over a few months. I do tow roughly 11k-15k lbs regularly. I did several hours of research on the common problems. I found that hard shifting, and delayed shifting was not a normal thing. I also found that when I kept the accelerator pedal right at 25% or so, I never gained speed. I never received a code for the transmission.
I decided to purchase the HD Valve Body, Solenoid Pack, and Filter adapter.
Also: Deep transmission pan, and transmission tuning by Calibrated Performance (sold by others)
The thought was that I was going to be into the transmission, so why not replace it all at once and be done with it.
Install went smooth! Not hard what so ever! Just make sure you review the instructions after each step.
Once installed, I made sure the fluid was at the right level and temp, and cycled thought the gears a few times.
On the test drive, I found that the transmission shifted smooth, solid, and complete.
I can not express enough how easy, and efficient this product is to install, and use. It sure beats paying the $3k-$7k for a complete trans.
Overall, my truck feels brand new! Great products! High quality!

I have a 2015 that is tuned and deleted. Was having shift flare and rough torque converter lockup. Called revmax and talked to Fran. He assured me the ease of this upgrade and the benifits I would get from it. First impressions are great. Shift flare is gone and so is the ruff lockup’s. I also did the revmax deep pan. The pan looks great and was super easy to install. Overall I am very pleased with this product. Also I ordered this on a Wednesday and had it installed by Friday night. Great product.

I already had EFI Live TCM tuning on my 2017 but wanted more to prevent anything from happening. I don’t pull anything too heavy but between a turned up tuner, a heavy right foot, and 37 inch tires it was only a matter of time before the poor stock tranny started having issues. I’m no master mechanic but the install was simple and competed in a few hours. I also had my tuner crank my line pressure up to 250 psi. Wow!! The shifts are much quicker. This is a must have for anyone with the 68rfe.

If your truck is tuned or thinking about getting it tuned, this should be a major consideration. Add the deep oil pan, thermostatic bypass, and get a new solenoid pack unless your truck is very low mileage. I have the DRD engine and trans tune. This valve body makes a world of difference you will not regret.

If you have a 68RFE, you need to do this valve body as preventive maintenance. I have installed these valve bodies on numerous HD towing application trucks, and have had very good success with them. I would do it on a brand new truck, and expect the trans to take almost whatever I throw at it within reason.

If you have a 68 don’t hesitate to do this. I had a P0871 code when my temps got warm, called up talked to Fran, let me tell you, he’s good. He know his product and what you need. He took the time to explain some things that i was unsure about and didn’t know. He got me the new valvebody and solenoid to my door in 2 days. I got the old one out and the new revmax one in, new solenoid and filters and shes running amazing. This is a must wish i had done it sooner. Everyone was helpful and the product was top notch, even for the basic one. My truck shifts better than ever now!!! Thanks Revmax!
